Refund and cancellation policy

Donations are generally not refundable

A donation is a voluntary gift and is committed to charitable work as soon as it is received, so as a rule we do not refund donations.

When we will refund

• Duplicate or repeated payment. If the same donation was charged more than once, we refund the extra payments in full.
• Wrong amount entered. If you meant to give a different amount and tell us within seven days, we will refund the difference or the whole amount.
• Unauthorised payment. If a payment was made without your authority, tell us and your bank at once and we will refund it once the transaction is confirmed as unauthorised.
• Technical failure. If money left your account but the donation did not register, we refund it.

How to ask

Email info@caspianfoundation.in or call +91 89193 41154 with the payment reference, the date and the amount. We acknowledge within three working days.

How refunds are made

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Razorpay. Banks usually credit the money within five to ten working days of us processing it. If an 80G receipt was already issued for that donation, it is cancelled and you must not claim a deduction against it.

Diabesity Changemakers Award entry fee

The Rs 999 entry fee is a processing fee for screening and judging an entry. It is not refundable once the entry is submitted, including when an entry is not shortlisted, is withdrawn, or is disqualified for misrepresentation. A duplicate payment, a payment charged without an entry being recorded, or an unauthorised payment is refunded in full, on the same terms as above.

Event registrations

Where a Foundation event has a paid pass, the refund terms for that event are published on that event's own page and apply instead of this policy.
